“ We arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday. We were somewhat reluctant due to mixed reviews We waited quite a bit for our food, but we were not disappointed. The food quality,flavor, and portion size was impressive. It was worth the wait. It is the best Mexican Restaurant experience that I have had in San Jose. We typically go to Redwood City or Gilroy for authentic Mexican food. Thank you!! ”
“ Great food! I got 3 tacos and each one had a completely different taste in the best way. Everything from the crunchy or soft tortillas to the topping made them delicious. The atmosphere was also so great. I loved everything about it from the topping bar in the corner to the unexpected enormous drinks. When the birthday song came on, everyone started cheering. It was fun and the birthday girl must have really enjoyed it! ”

“ Doublemeat Burrito.... is absolutely incredible and nicely filled with meat, avocado, then rice, beans, sour cream, and cheese. And.. it is huge 2 meals easily. The Burrito does vary from time to time, and it would be great if the owner could establish ONE GREAT Burrito, with the same high quality every time The atmosphere is really pleasant, floor to ceiling windows, nice interior, plus a little bar that looks like it has some good Tequila and ability for yummy Margaritas. Staff is on the friendly side lol, Im a white Dane, so they are not letting people in so easily. Highly recommend this place, and I personally go back every time Im in the neighborhood. ”
“ This location is more spacious and less ratchet than the downtown SJ location if you like more peaceful places. Theres also plenty of plaza parking. The food came out in 5 minutes, piping hot. The service is really great. They appeared instantly when we were ready to order, needed anything, and when we wanted to get the check. I love the quesabirria burrito the best. But the big crispy tacos are a close second. If I am feeling something less solid, I would go for the menudo. They have a great condiments bar to complement everything. If you go with a big party, it is a great opportunity to get some of their seafood platters or molcajete. The guacamole is super fresh too. Theres a good variety of drinks, even one called Hangover Cure. Did not work for me. The shrimp micheladas is very satisfying though. ”

“ As far as Mexican places go in the bay I personally think this is a top 3 spot. Their crispy tacos are fantastic, probably better than most places tacos. Lingua is amazing and their carne asada is fine. Pricing wise its a tad more then others but is well worth it, come early not late to avoid all the lines. ”
